From the 6 guys in an old crash of of mine, they only flew 200 hrs in their first 18 months after training.
Where are these hours coming from?

covid not withstanding I’ve gotten an average of 80 hours per month as an august 19 hire in IAD. Obviously the covid months that was not the case. I’ve held a line immediately out of training in both jets.

I read all the forums, and yes I actually do have quite a bit of time on my hands with a newborn.
Thanks for asking.
Did I hurt your feelings or something?
Maybe you should try responding to a troll like cooldrough?
I like to maintain a larger picture of the industry than just “my sandbox”.
Maybe you should try it

So with the 20k sign on bonus drop on Mesa’s page today how’s negotiation going? Seems to me that Mesa throwing a sign on bonus shows that people aren’t biting and they are trying compete. Just curious. That hourly needs to go up ASAP.

You got me. 100% jealous of those at Mesa. I wish they would have called me all those years ago. The guaranteed career progression to nowhere and industry leading pay were what made me want to be a Mesa aviator but alas, it was not meant to be.
