Yeah that’s what I meant. If one sits ready every single day and never flys they only make min guarantee? Wow, that’s bad. At least here if someone gets screwed enough they will make over min guarantee on top of a taxed per diem. It’s amazing anyone thinks we have the worst reserve rules when Envoy has that garbage floating around, if true of course. I really hope that isn’t true for them.
How do you figure? That’s the same as it is here besides the per diem. This month the 10 hour shifts are back you have a chance of breaking min but since Covid started it’s been 8 hour shifts x 19 days that’s min guarantee.... and when the MOU went into effect the ready shifts went down to 6 hours so you still couldn’t break guarantee on ready. So we’re light years ahead in that we get per Diem of 1.60-1.70 hour? I’d say the roughly $15 more they make per hour cancels that out.

It is virtually impossible to break reserve guarantee at Envoy. Off the top of my head, contractually for standby you get 3.9 hr credit towards monthly flying. If, in combination with other flying that month you exceed 75 hr, then you cannot be scheduled for more standby shifts.

Yeah... you must be the DB MAG pilot who sat next to me, struck up the conversation, espoused on how UA pilots need to give up scope, how tough it’s been at MAG and how he needed a second job to pay his bills.
I told him I hope we tighten scope and move the E175’s to UA to be flown by UA pilots
