The only thing I heard of crj guys going to ejet is that don't have good habits of making FMA callouts... Which is more important for an automated plane like the ejet.
I would imagine the only people having trouble is those who have been fying the same plane and didn't go through a 121 program for 10 years+

But anyway forced upgrades do suck. There are many options out here these days... Frontier or endeavor ain't bad. At least endeavor has a somewhat guaranteed flow to Delta as long as you don't mess up too much. Or like what has been stated in the other thread, why upgrade for $0 when you can get $100k at envoy, endeavor, or gojet or something
Even an Acmi like ABX air, western global, or Omni air ain't bad.

Why is success rate of that slim? Its just like any other airplane... Know your limitations, callouts, profiles, triggers, flows, systems.

In ioe or at the fed ride. Why - I don’t know.

Oh well, I don't know the details of what's going on there, but it shouldn't be as complicated as it seems to be. If you know how to fly a CRJ, you should be able to know how to fly literally any other plane.

Failing IOE?? That's a new one. Should be the easiest thing to pass in any airline. Especially in an ejet that does everything for you. Granted I never flown it, but I have friends at republic who fly the plane and it sounds godly compared to the CRJ when they describe it. Auto anti ice, Vnav, auto braking, and the best yet.... Auto throttle.

Question to those since the PBS bidding is now open.
This is specifically for CRJ
How is DFW Vs. IAH flying like? I'm not sure if its just me (I dont know how to look at 2302 pairings since it closed in PBS, how do I do that? I tried everything), but DFW seems to have much less pairings now since last month, and a lot more of them are early starts... 4am flights... 5 am flights... etc. This is not attrative for me since I am a night owl and highly prefer later starts. Also do not want to be on reserve anymore.
1. how many pairings are open for IAH?
2. Are they mostly early flights or later flights? early starts or later starts?
3. Is it basically a guarantee that everyone based there will hold a line there, since theres only like 4 FO's over there or something for march, and im sure there will be a lot more lines than available pilots?
4. How are the destination airports for IAH CRJ, do they fly international?
Thinking of changing from DFW to IAH after seeing these numbers and commuting from DFW to there, by United non-rev.
But not really sure yet... need some input.

What about the pass rate of an FO on a CRJ transitioning to an FO on a ERJ? I realize that is rare today, but you have knowledge of years past. What had you heard?

Many people go from CRJ to Boeing 767 or Airbus without any issues. It's a plane.
At Mesa you can't change equipment anyway as a FO unless you're displaced from base. Even then, it's by seniority. So yeah, chances are near impossible to switch equipment. Other airlines have a two year seat lock or something and then allowed to change planes but not Mesa sadly. You're stuck with whatever plane you get

Unless there’s a displacement bid it can’t happen. When we moved them in IAD they all passed as far as I’m aware.
