Sure going to be fun when we drop down to 20 AA aircraft next year due to missed performance goals.
With any luck the cargo side will explode plane wise to absorb the 25 aircraft worth of crew that we will no longer need. Either that or some people are in for a rude awakening here.

We CAN do something to help. Don’t walk away from an open write up or potential write up leaving it for the next crew. You just wasted 15 minutes and that can make a difference.

It’s not hard to do you’re job! I’m guilty myself on the last leg to say “it’s not my plane anymore so it’s not my problem” and go home. But seeing as most pilots at Mesa will be here for a while you might as well make the best of it. If the company succeeds you succeed. Yeah crew tracking will still annoy you and the pay might suck sometimes or the work rules or whatever. But at the end of the day if we lose our contract we may well lose our jobs. Keep up the good work everyone! I’ll be sitting in the crew room on ready reserve....day 545 and still no line in sight.

Mark my words unless our performance improves we WILL be at 30 aircraft on the AA side at this time next year and then 25 and 20 in the years that follow that. That is true beyond a shadow of a doubt. I would anticipate the Phoenix base to close after a reduction to 30 aircraft. Which could come in as little as a few months.

Look at how things worked out for the last Eagle carrier operating 20 airframes...

There is a very good reason you are getting desperate emails from management about operational performance. The guillotine is being prepared.
