CJO
Hey there,
I just received a CJO and am hoping to find out a couple of things. Any trip/duty rigs? Minimum day pay? Commuter hotels? Any QOL issues that make Mesa better than the other regionals or are they all about the same in your opinion?
Thanks very much!

For your future career endeavors these kinds of questions are answered on the airline profiles section of this website. Most of the time the information is kept up to date.

No min day pay, but most days of flying are usually a minimum of probably 4-5 hours. Occasionally you’ll have a late start for a trip (4:00-8:00 pm) and do only one leg to an outstation, but I don’t mind because I commute. You get 2 hours of pay on the day off during a 30 hour layover. Wish it was more.
They offer commuter hotels during certain times and sometimes you can call them and get one approved if it looks like you won’t be able to make the commute the day of trip start.
As far as QOL, not being forced to do junior assignment is nice. But with it being 200% now, I imagine many people won’t mind doing it.
Mesa has been pretty good to me except for the horrendous pay for the past years. Once the rosters are fully staffed, I think scheduling and flexibility to drop/pick up will dramatically improve.

No trip/duty rigs but very few days or trips that it would benefit from.

This is super helpful, thank you. Would you say similar credit and commutability for both the CRJ and the ERJ?
Thanks
