We are paid a month in arrears. You’ll see it on your Oct 15 paycheck.

Default Dropping Schedule

Whats the rules at Mesa with dropping your schedule? I know at Spirit you can drop your schedule to 0 and pick up open time/ premium trips. Is Mesa the same way? i heard you can drop your schedule to 0 with no penalty. Obviously the penalty would be no pay. Would they send you to sims if you weren't current after 3 months?

Technically it’s possible at Mesa to drop to zero. Practically it’s not. The reserve grid has to be green and only time I ever saw that at all was during covid.

The grid is never green enough to allow that but the rules make it possible. It’ll never happen.

Are the Mesa 737 still on a six pack?

If so, how hard is the transition from the simulator glass cockpit, to the real airplane with old steam guages?

The Sims’s match the airplanes. There’s no transition.

I was on reserve from 8/19 thru 2/20 and most days were green and I dropped a lot of reserve days to get 3 day weekends. But, we also had 320+ FO’s in IAH.

How many FOS do you have in IAH now? Does the schedule still have that possibility with the amount of staff/flying in Houston?
