Mesa is going to be all United moving our CRJ pilots into the ejet and pick up our planes (the LL’s) that are parked in the desert as the CRJ pilots transfer to the ejet. This will stop commutair from rebranding and get the 175 desert parked planes flying faster. Chicago will open up as a base (kansas city as mx base for mesa) thanks to the go jet issues they’re having.
This is an interesting take. Is this all hypothetical, or is this based on credible information?

As far as Air Wisconsin goes, I believe the AA deal is for their 200s with the option to explore 700s in the future. Maybe I missed something recent, though.

All comes down to this why would United help pay mesa pilot wages for pilots to fly for a competitor (AA CRJ mesa pilots) United has no benefit from that regardless of the aviate flow!

I’m taking facts and building a picture…
One plausible future. Not all set in facts. The LLs are off the CPA with UA. MCI might make a good UA crew base. If UA Gets scope relief on the 550 it may come back to Mesa in the ORD or MCI base - if GoJet fails. The 900 as is can’t be flown on UA. Some think removing seats makes it work. It doesn’t. Because UA is scoped out on the quantity of large rjs until they expand their fleet or add a new NB (A220 anyone?). Phx isn’t being displaced. Supposedly neither is Dallas. AA is not lost and things are happening there to assure it’s not. Successful? Time will tell.

There is another way all the scope issues go away. We may have seen the first step in that direction.

Bases fleets and code shares change in this industry. Something will happen. Something will change but I doubt it’ll look anything like any of us expect it will.

The addition of a new SNB such as the A220 would allow more large rj’s at UAX, but UAL can triple their current fleet and no more large rj’s would be allowed. As UAL NB block hours increase using current fleet types, the amount of allowable UAX block hours would also increase though, but without the addition of anything over 50 seats.

Thank you for that clarification.

Default Training Pay

Pulled this from FB

"I just talked with a Mesa crew last week, they said tons of training delays and they buried in the contract that new hires won’t receive the new pay bump until IOE is finished because they don’t want to pay people to sit around and do nothing while waiting months for their training only to end up leaving for another airline anyways"

Is this true for the current people at MESA

You heard it on Facebook, it has to be true. Facepalm.
