Pay is being addressed shortly. They just haven’t stated exactly what it will be yet. They know people will bail for the line if they don’t adjust the pay. They also think there will be an influx of people and will need instructors badly. The immediate problem is getting students through the pipeline and showing back up for sims. The number of people showing up vs the number of people called back to start FPT/SIT were significantly different.

Hey all so question, I have the opportunity to have a class date withe Mesa starting at the end of October or stick with my SkyWest class date at the same time. Now I'm being told by recruiter that the current training foot print is about 3 months. Is this accurate if anyone has seen? Also Checkride to IOE is apparently 2-3 weeks wait. Just want to be sure I am hearing things correct. My goal is to end up at UA which is why Mesa appeals to me but I don't know if its the fastest route to get there. Any insight would be greatly appreciated.

Get in now. You will fly. That’s key. You will get your time. Aviate is taking pilots. So there is movement.

ERJ, What is the timeline looking like for training though is 3 months correct though? Whats the AVIATE timeline look like for a new hire who hasnt opted in until INDOC look like? I imagine now with everyone eligible to opt in its looking like longer than the bare minimum 2 years and 2k hours.

The sept/oct 2021 ejet classes just got their type ratings and are going through or have recently completed ioe. So about a 11-12 month footprint. A lot of pilots in the classes between then and now have left for other opportunities so maybe it will be a shorter timeframe for you. One thing I’ve noticed about regional recruiters across the board is that they are inept when it comes to realistic training timelines. Aviate…well you wont hear much from them. They prove to remain mysterious with the FIFOs and new opt in members.

11-12 months?! When do you start getting paid?

Or they're just "sugar coating" it

Well I have buddies that just finished systems on the Ejet and already have sims scheduled for approximately 6 weeks from now, so that doesn't sound correct to me. It looks like 4-5 months for Ejet, not 11-12. Could be wrong though.

Day 1.

Aviate is not transparent but people are getting class dates on both sides of the house.

So, about this industry credit, do we need to contact payroll and discuss our previous 121 time? I’m assuming it’s available to current employees.
