They just have to give the furloughed guys the first chance contractually.

Makes sense and what about the cadets?

Probably the same priority as everyone else after the furloughs. I don’t expect ATPs to be at the front of the line. I’d probably be bugging the recruiter every day to get a class date.

If I were cadet that received consideration (money) and they hold classes with no cadets I would make sure I have in writing that I have met all the requirements of the contract and am ready and able to perform in the class (but that would just be my take)... I would also get a lost opportunity of another offer if you can.

Most recent communication says 10-30, having all 90 furloughed guys back in a 3 month timeframe from April

So the burning question would be.... Should a cadet start putting resumes in to all regionals that are hiring? If you get a class date from one and accept it how would that effect the contract and the requirement to pay back the money? You hear all about seniority and right now I have seen instructors I work with get class dates with a regional for May and they started the application process only 2 weeks ago.
