He’s just asking you selfish pilots to give more than a 2 week notice since you all think you are so sneaky holing your cjos to these lateral moves. What you skipped over in that email is don’t make a lateral move or ulcc move hold out here for your final stop.

what you fail to read is: There is a big announcement coming the industry is about to change and there are exciting changes coming to MESA

so many of you silly birds are going to regret putting in your 30day notice when the big announcement happens. Don’t give up your sweet sweet seniority and aviate slot just yet!

Straight from our leaders mouth: this is a destination regional, applications overflowing and training pipeline full.

But those applications are filled with multiple Checkride failure applicants

we accept all at mesa that’s why our pipeline will never dry up all the silly CFIs going straight for the ulcc and the big Pay regionals are welcomed with open arms at their last stop

“Start your climb” is literally what our lanyard said when I was at Mesa. Don’t level off, cruise, descend or even arrive at your “destination” at Mesa. If leadership is saying otherwise now that’s a complete change in philosophy. The flight crews were great, can’t complain about the people I worked with there. I went there voluntarily with no Checkride failures, did my time and moved on - just like they told us in indoc - we were welcome and encouraged to do. “If you want to stay, we’re glad to have you, if you want to move on we’ll be glad to help you do that.” I have no idea what the company is doing now though. As a LAMA honestly I hate to see it.

The MEC has declined low ball offers. The severity of the situation isn’t being grasped while the training pipeline is full. But it’s hear rumors that the lightbulb has finally come on. I’ll believe it when I see it.

You have to work for a company with a union to strike
