Is flying way down for April?? Saw some pretty senior captains on reserve. Guess spring break is over!

Or flying is being shifted around. Some 170/175 is being up gauged to 319/737-7. There’s multiple destinations I used to fly at Express that are on mainline recently.

I don’t know about the CRJ, but apparently reserves are being increased to cover the 175’s in IAD. Evidently, there are a bunch of senior CA’s that changed equipment who recently finished training on the ejet between the bid period so they weren’t able to have a line.

Overall it’s not WAY down. It is down but more importantly it’s uneven. Lots at the front of the month, very little at the end.

Just heard from a couple of friends that Mesa is recalling all the trainees that were furloughed. Things are looking up.
