Yep, or if you “deny” a “junior assignment” (not a real thing since we don’t have junior assignments and yet they can drop your premium pay for the entire month from 300 to 200% for not accepting it). Just another fun little easter egg. Don’t worry they would have “forgotten” to add the 300% to your check anyway.

Also are you prepared to not have the contract honored and jump through hoops every month just to get your entitled pay. I’m not bitter but this is pretty ridiculous. 11 days off per
month and you have to spend a significant time getting your pay correct EVERY SINGLE MONTH. This isn’t unique or something with a system to correct it, it is the norm cause they know if they do illegal bad things to everyone, only 25% max will file a grievance and or make a fuss. They just made

also cool features like, you finish your line period. Get on airplane to commute home. . . Land and now you are unavailable for junior assignment.

As of the latest quarterly report, Mesa has approximately $79m in cash ($120m in liquid assets) and total assets of $1.3bn. They can afford to pay you more. Don’t let the extra $200 a month drag the entire industry down.

You conveniently left out the debt of 1.1 billion. 250 million of which is the government loan that must be repaid.

All airlines have debt. Mesa actually has a way better debt/equity rate than most airlines.
As a LAMA I’m not directly effected by this contract. But as a professional pilot in the US airline industry, we are ALL effected by this woefully inadequate industry floor contract. Next time any airline bargains, their financial comparison analysis drops percentage points based on the lowest, worst contract. And this is it.
You’re either management or have some personal stake in this being passed. It’s you (and the troll) vs. everyone else.
