Mesa 4.0 what’s the latest

You keep saying training is backed up everywhere and it’s bad everywhere but that’s just not true. Anyone who has friends at other airlines can tell you that training is progressing fairly normally at SkyWest, Republic, Envoy and now Cummutair. These companies have all had issues and addressed them while Mesa continues to spiral in the wrong direction. I agree get your hours and get out but the generality of it’s just as bad everywhere else is just not true.

thats not true in the slightest. I’ve talked to new hires from Envoy, republic, Skywest, and endeavor all with severely backed up training programs. Limited instructors and sim availability. Skywest is extremely backed up on the CRJ rivaling our EJET training footprint. Talking to the endeavor pilots as well as having friends in the pipeline it’s about a 4-5 month footprint with them buying any and all CRJ sim time they can get their hands on. Envoy has had hiccups lately pushing there’s on the 175 to 4-5 months as well. Y’all act like the world is on fire and Mesa is the only one struggling when irrefutable evidence says otherwise. Your *****ing and complaining isn’t unique. The training issues and backups isn’t unique. Everyone has it. Welcome to the industry.
You are making my point. Thank you. 4-5 months is normal. We are at 10-12.

CRJ is comparable to the 4-5 month normal footprint. If you want a DFW base right out of training it’s not a bad gig. There are negatives like inefficient trips but overall it’s a decent way to get 121 time. I would only refer friends to it though if DFW were the primary consideration.

4-5 months is normal? Hahahah good one. The EJET is 6-7 months. There’s October hires in the sims. CRJ is not delayed. 2-3 months is normal. There’s folks at OO who’ve been waiting for CRJ IOE since January. But yeah that’s normal.

the CRJ training footprint is significantly quicker. On average it’s 2-2.5months from Indoc to checkride completion. They’re light on APD’s but seem to be fairing well. If you want to fly and fly a lot out of DFW or PHX choose the CRJ. I loved my time on it. It’ll make you a very proficient and well rounded pilot. You’ll be very familiar with MEL’s lol.

EJet is much longer than that. Not even all of the September class has been recalled to flat panels yet. Legitimately 10-12 months. Have a buddy who is in his fifth month sitting home from a November class. It's egregiously bad.

Just for clarity, I’m talking completion of IOE. And I’m certain there are August hires still in sims. I’m trying to out real info out there. If you want to tell people it’s not that bad here come on over that’s on you. But it’s simply false information.

Yes they have. I went through with some of the late September classes. I’m well aware of the current training footprint and the direction it’s trending.

Oh, I didn't mean that there weren't September people in there, but only about half of that class. No one I've talked to from October classes has heard anything yet. Hopefully, they do soon.
