Any idea when we’re gonna start seeing aviate attrition? Did the math the other day and figure I’m about 350th-ish in line as a junior IAH CA. UAL or DAL are my end goals. Kinda curious how it’ll work with our already massive struggle to staff the airline without the proposed aviate attrition. Thanks y’all.

This company won’t exist by the time your number comes up.

How did you figure that out?

Somewhat agree, except a recession would keep the doors open.

I’m not the room and gloom type. While we’re in a really bad spot we’re not the only ones. Every regional is struggling. Our problem is new hire retention which is especially bad. However I don’t necessarily think Mesa is in an irrecoverable position yet. As to how I figured out my aviate flow number it was just subtracting the AA side folk and the known lifers on the UA side. It’s a rough estimate and by no means sophisticated on my end.

A lot of talk about the United side but what about the AA? Have we basically just given up on that to wither on the vine? What are the relations like with the new CEO?

I hope that’s true. That would be great to see it solidify and grow. Gotta be honest it was looking/feeling a little bleak during my last few months there.
I have several buddies headed to initial on the crj and hope they can get their time and experience there.

He’s a troll. It’s falling apart as I type this. Everyday sees the AA side slip closer to oblivion. The mismanagement and cost cutting of this place is going to strand a lot of senior PHX guys with an IAH commute.

I really dont see how this airline can survive losing the AA flying. The seniority list is too top heavy CRJ the training footprint would be gigantic.

The only saving grace for the AA flying is that AA itself is such an operational cluster that no one would be able to pick up our flying if we closed up shop overnight.
