The personal attacks aside, because yeah, those are lame...
The regional with a flow analogy isn't quite the same here. If I went from 9E to PSA, for example, then I'd be giving Delta more reason to hire me, since I'm no longer supporting Delta, and they'd be pilfering from AA.
Aviate is different, because you've already interviewed with United. It's more like getting a CJO from United and saying no thanks.

9E now has a flow a flow to delta. 20 endeavor pilots per month or 50% of new hire classes at delta will be endeavor pilots, whichever is lower.

It’s his or her choice in the end. Heed our good or bad advice but in the end it’s up to them to choose what’s best for them and their circumstances. Everyone’s path to their end goal destination is different. We’re just a bunch of grouchy RJ pilots on the internet after all.

Funny I'm a tool to a bunch of people who don't know me. Once again Aviate is awesome never once said IDC about it. Life and circumstances have come and waiting around for an E-175 slot isn't ideal. And sitting around flying for a year for them to maybe give me an upgrade to start Aviate isn't what I want either. You all make decisions based on your circumstances all I can do is respect it. Those same tools you think are at republic could be your buddy someday on your next adventure. So keep it clean dude no need for malice. I'm appreciative of Aviate but United isn't the only major airline in America. I'm willing to bite this bullet for my family and kids. To bet on myself and make it happen. I'm sure you wouldn't know since all you've flown is C-172s in your life. Good-luck bro you sound like you've been bullied as a child and girls don't like you. It's okay never to late for a gym membership and a confidence reinventing boost.

Wish you can turn over your Aviate slot to me as I didn't get in first try Pink! When you say kids, family, bills, that's important stuff, and if you are the sole bread winner, it's beyond tough. No company should fault you for a lateral move because you had to take care of your family. Best of luck to you man.

Hard to argue with this…companies certainly don’t prioritize your family over their bottom line when it’s important to them! Put your needs first, no one else will. As long as you’ve acted with integrity and honored any contract, no employer can justifiably hold a move against you.

Thanks fellas. This is one of the toughest decisions I've had to make thus far. Trust me I'm constantly at odd with it being that I've done all I can to get into Aviate. Beyond grateful all I can do is roll the dice at this point. And yes I'm the sole provider wife's a stay at home. I have military flying that's helped a ton and all. But looking in the mirror I'm like $1200.00 every two weeks just isn't going to cut it out here in California. I've tried my hardest man. This isn't ideal. I feel I'm about to throw away a golden ticket. And I feel for anyone who's tried and got the tbnt from United for this. I wouldn't dare disrespect the process. But life man I gotta keep the lights on. All those waiting for E-176 dates good-luck, I'd highly entertain the CRJ. And I'm currently still with the company so we shall see. Fly safe guys and gals!
