I had to do a few days of requal with him because I fell through the crack with UPRT training and had nothing but a good experience with him. Granted I was already a Captain and “kinda” knew what I was doing but it was stress free. It actually boosted my ego because I was told to “keep up the good work”. I think he just rubs some people the wrong was cause a lot of pilots have a type A personality and can’t be told they’re wrong

that’s your opinion. However if your reserve grid rarely turns green, or the latest pilot out of training has a line the following month. If the option for captains to fly as first officers because of need(precovid), then I believe its a staffing issue.

I just wanted to wish all of my fellow Mesa pilots a very happy Thanksgiving. I picked up a 300% overnight to OKC. I won’t be home again this year, but it’s no shame as I get to spend this day with my Mesa family. If anyone is in town and wants to go eat, I’ll be heading to the Wafflehouse around 1pm. I may see if the hotel will bring me to the mall later too. But I wanted to say Happy Thanksgiving and thank you all for giving your Mesa-Best

I said the STAFFING issues is a training bottleneck not a HIRING problem. Don’t change it. They are filling classes just fine.

Training is a bottleneck all over. As we get deep into 2022, it will become more of a hiring problem at the regionals. Also it will be an upgrade to CA problem with the regionals.

Good to see the operational meltdown beginning today. The company deserves it as a result of their own staggering incompetence. Hopefully no one picks up those set of flights. Need to learn to stop relying on the pilot group to bail them out of their own problems.

when the staff is underpaid. You typically get folks to jump at 300% especially around the holidays.
