You should read the contract (and the MEC emails). Junior assignments are voluntary.

It’s not voluntary when you’re stuck out of base (and home) for 5 nights due to weather.

The reserve availability on
flica understates actual staffing. You can be on reserve available to fly and not be on the list because of an assignment that is over. We are fat on captains.

Dude. They are running min credit lines. 76 hours. Ejet is 80 hours. What you are basing your understaffing on is flawed. We are running 40 percent of normal (see announced stats for Mesa investors if you don’t believe) flying with the same staffing. We are very overstaffed.
