Update. It is now 2 as of 7:19am. But by all means go ahead and keep spreading the lie of being overstaffed.
Also remember there are quite a few captains on leave.

there is 6 in dfw. That’s it. 6 on the LOA. about 2 off line (aka won’t be able to be back if needed) and about 2 on fmla. That’s it. Once again in DFW we are 100% beyond a shadow of a doubt not overstaffed.

The “junior assignments” have already started. Mesa is never understaffed as long as they can operate at the bare minimum of pilots.

I saw this morning that Mesa was recognized as an industry leader during Covid. How’s everyone doing that still works here?

A FA just told me one of their buddies, who I guess was among those send home during training, was given an official recall with a class date for April. Has anyone heard similar? I figured if the company were recalling guys, the union would send out an email.

Apparently, the company isn’t too keen on updating the union with stuff these days. Buuuuuut I was kinda hoping someone who may have been one of the guys sent home was on here and could easily give a yes or no. News usually travels faster through unofficial channels.

I am not one of the guys sent home but am a cadet whose class was cancelled, we got an email last week from both the cadet coordinator and pilot recruiter that classes were starting April 4th and 25th for the recalled pilots, 10 pilots each class.

Hanging in there on minimum guarantee each month. Going on just about 2 years on reserve.

Recall letter my friend got is for an April 6 class, but they are only running eJet classes. No CRJ.
