Stockholm Syndrome, voting in sub par contracts, and being used as a whipsaw tool which is no longer applicable due to pilot demand. The stigma would disappear overnight if Mesa voted in an industry leading contract. Being used as a whipsaw tool is not the pilots fault, beyond voting in sub par contracts. Many great pilots at Mesa that deserve far better.
If you have choices, pick an airline that will give you the best QOL because of work rules and base pay.
If Mesa is the only opportunity you can get, be thankful and use it to prove your worth in this industry and move on when you can.
