Atl 737-800

The 737 flying is some of the best in the company. That is why it goes so senior. Lots of turns to the islands, and I have not seen a trip with more than four legs on it. (I am sure someone will point out one that does) Most are one and two leg days that take you from one great layover to the next.
The 757 has become the 88 out of ATL. You should see how many five leg days we have that go in to a nine hour overnight.

That's because they've started to dump all your "bad" trips on LAX crews.
Both my trips next month have ATL layovers AND ATL turns (4 LEG DAYS, not trips). I fly the -800 because I don't want 4 LEG DAYS. Oh well, here's hoping the schedule gets better in May (just venting). LAX has been and always will be the red-headed step child of DELTA - still waiting for the rumored West Coast Expansion.

Hey I went to the ER to avoid four leg days too! No suck luck. Got a bunch of those going in to a nine hr layo. Not the trips they used to be.
At least you do not have to do the Double redeye MAO trip with a 14 hr LAYO!

I feel your pain - the LAX ER guys are feeling it too. I know some guys like being busy (some of -88/-9 guys) when they're flying multiple legs. Personally, I love the one/done Transcon 5 hours/day and go home at the end of 3/4 day trip. Not sure yet if I want to do the Intl thing with really long legs and long layovers.
