well with the JCBA scope caps and limits that will protect us from them just growing and growing the regionals. If they cut all of the -9's they have to replace that lift at mainline or dont replace it. The regionals are pretty much going to be capped out with this scope language.

Cheers to the above 5!!^^^^^^^^^^^

I for one sincerelly hope you get it. If we can point to you guys and say that there's the DAL guys, 12,000 of them, that are making more than us, it only strengthens our demands for a pay raise when we go back to the bargaining table in 2011.

Not saying that I hope you guys don't get what you want, but as far as strength in numbers goes...doesn't AA have around 12k pilots?

9,000 active. 2000 are still on furlough. Also, they are APA. We would be the strongest ALPA carrier. Hopefully with the balance sheet they will have, we can go a long way towards "restoring the profession". We have given them some huge IOUs over the past few years. Now its time for them to take that, invest it, and in four years pay it back.

Cheers.

They still pretty much have the highest paid pilots of the legacies in the post 9/11 environment.

We are merging the two healthiest networks, with next to no overlap, and an extensive worldwide presence.
No overlap? How about domestically? Does that not count?

That is hysterical... just what do you think we will do about it if DAL IS making tons of coin, and management drags it's feet? Nothing.. same as always. Actually, I would rather take over alpa national, and send prater and his bunch packing. No more pensions and/or $400,000.00 salaries at national while/since all his major "contributors" have lost everything back to 1988 wages. Enough is enough. Take it Back starts at home.
