Most of what you complain about is because the company does not give the back end crew the tools to work with. Recently rode on Qantas, the FAs had something to offer virtually every hour of the 14 hour flt...what do the US carriers offer, a dinner, late night snack and a breakfast. You could replace them all and still not have the product.

As I've posted before... NAI is not the enemy nor threat, it's the management. Better products and performance is a must. The difference is night and day when it comes to cleanliness, service, presentation, aminities and quality from foreign carriers to U.S. legacies.

Have any unions brought this to the attention of their respective memberships or management via the MECs? I'd be willing to bet it would be a shock to management that the unions were demanding better products besides $$$
