NWA Pilot's Union (contact info wanted)
Pilots,
I need contact information for the Union contingent that represents NWA pilots. If the representation is broken down by airports or region, I need contact for MEM. Officers, telephone, fax and/or web-site.
Thanks,

Jetjock,
"Negative Ghostrider!"
I'm a member of NATCA, and we are in the process of contacting Union officers representing the pilots who fly into and out of MEM. There are several new procedures that have gone into effect... procedures that the vast majority of MEM Controllers find unacceptable. We want to let your Union know what is going on, and why you are getting delayed.
Additionally, there are several safety related issues that have surfaced, and we would like to discuss these issues with the Unions that represent the pilots who use the ATC services provided by MEM Air Traffic Controllers.
NATCA has been documenting these safety concerns via letters and email to the FAA at the Local, Regional and National level. We have also filed numerous Unsafe Condition Reports (UCR's), NASA Aviation Safety Reporting System (ASRS) reports, and we have attempted to discuss these issues with FAA Management at weekly Team Briefings. To date, local FAA Management at MEM has completely refused to discuss or address any of our concerns.
We have been informed that these new procedures will continue "... because the boss says so."
Bottom line? We are building a paper trail to/through FAA Management, and we are attempting to inform the Unions representing the pilots about various situations that exist here.
I work for the FAA... but I'm not representing the FAA. I'm an Air Traffic Controller... NATCA Member... Union Member.
