While it may be a little inside baseball, it is right down the middle, over the strike zone.

Haha, was thinking the same thing. The bunk was missing my zip tied basket for my phone and glasses.

Holy cow did that crash pad cartoon strike a chord! Yep, drawn from experience that I hope never to return to.

And here we go, it's Monday...

Boy, does that bring up memories from yesteryear. Back in my cargo flying days, there was a flight engineer that I flew with on a regular basis. We stayed at hotels that provided top notch buffet breakfasts. This FE would load up his plate with food, then transfer it to a container for later consumption. Never left his hotel room, even during weekend layovers. We were stuck in Boston, during a snow event. Due to the snow, were grounded for three days. The FO and I managed to pull him out of his cave to have a couple of drinks. We even offered to cover his tab. After a few rounds, he loosened up. He told us that His spouse knows his pay to the penny. She knew, to the penny, of his per Diem (Domestic and International). She knew his schedule, and restaurants near hotels. She allotted this poor chap an allowance for his trips. Ahh, I said. That explains the food containers on the road. I asked what about the allowances your wife gives you. “Saving up enough money to run away from home to join the circus.”

Allows him to spend the money he earns from his career, wow; what a sorry sod. I genuinely feel bad for guys/gals in this situation, but, only they can snap to to get out of it.

We had a guy in my old squadron who didn't drink or smoke at home 'cause Momma didn't allow it. Well, guess who the untamed, drunken fool was when TDY? Oi. Such a pain.
