I know they will probably not see this here, but sometimes a little positive(ity) is just good karma.

Jump seated on AA flight 2435 MIA-LAX yesterday. I am not a commuter and when i do use the jumpseat it is typically on carriers other than AA simply because they do not serve the cities with as much frequency as others (my parents live near ATL for example). Anyway, the agent was as nice as can be....ended up giving an emergency exit row with no one sitting next to me (full flight). However, they were taking bags at the jetway. I was heading home and in no rush so that was no big deal to me. I checked in with the crew and they (politely and happily) waved me to the back. When I got to LAX, I went to baggage claim to await my bag. my phone rings and it is an AA Captain who say he has my bag it was "short checked" (not familiar with this term) my bag and they were about to send it to lost and found, but he saw my business card and crew tag on the bag and called. When he heard i was already outside security he offered to bring my bag to baggage claim, which he did.

Probably not a big deal in the large scheme of things, and he had his FO with him so he was probably on his way out anyway, but I just want to post a big THANK YOU to the crew and staff at AA for a great flight home. Thanks again.
