I don't fly for CAL, but that's great news. If age sixty holds, that should come down right?

At that rate, it will be a 2.5 year upgrade for me!! Shows you timing is everything. So little is in our control

ReCal:

I hope so. The most junior CA is senior(relative) to the most junior on the last bid.3777 vs. 3824.In other words, Junior CA on the previous bid is only 21 numbers senior to the last bid, eventhough there were 149 CA vacancies. Not encouraging. Congrats New CA'S!

Capt went junior to me at UAL at exactly 3 years. But after some thougt, I did not take it. Being the junior puke on reserve on a 737 is about like that rubber dogpoo duty on Top Gun the movie.

$60,000 raise makes poo smell better. That's just nasty.

Feb 98 hire was the junior wide body CA slot. Not bad. 9 years to be a B756 CA.

Like any other airline, in that's guys case, 9 years to widebody CA. That doesn't mean that a guy hired at CAL today can expect to be a wide body CA in 9 years.
