Managment is probably anticipating being able to weasel out of its AF/KLM obligations. Why would RA honor his commitments when he knows DALPA will let him off the hook?
Far cheaper to spend some money wining and dining the DALPA junta than adhering to the contract.
Let's keep that in mind when the company tries to negotiate other JV balances.
Frankly, it's a bit like negotiating an agreement with Iran. Does anyone really expect them to honor it?
Buyer beware.

I think this has more to do with our recent agreement to allow management out of their requirement to fly a set number of flights out of NRT. For allowing management out of that requirement we "got" a minimum level of Pacific ASM's that must be flown by Delta pilots. That new minimum level represented about 10% less ASM's than what we were currently flying. What we're seeing now is simply what we've allowed management to shrink to...while keeping all their Joint Ventures and code shares.

Please, it's a simple question, don't be so defensive. So is there some trouble in the Seattle paradise or not? If one is trying to be Seattle based you could maybe open your eyes to why someone would ask the question rather than assuming there are other reasons.
