$100k on current year two pay would be crediting an average of 115hrs per month. I'd say it's CLOSE to impossible right now but that can always change. My be a month here or there but not like that every month. Those stories are the same ones I heard and they were true because back then (a few years ago) spirit was way behind the ball on hiring and contract compliance went out the window. Guys were basically working on all their days off and getting pay protected for their regular work days. This obviously snowballs throughout the system making the staffing problem worse so the stories of 150hrs credit months were not uncommon. Those days are gone.

I agree training is a fire-hose the first 2 weeks. You are basically in class or studying and trying to get in some food and a phone call home. After that it gets better but it doesn't let up. Great training I liked the systems CD and lots of support. Concentrate on flows, callouts, checklist, flows, flows, did I mention flows? You have to learn every flow from both seats as you will be typed PIC. Your classmates and sim partners are great resources to study with and help you through any difficulties. Many different backgrounds and types of flying. Have a good attitude and try to have a little fun too. Best training experience I have had and I can't express how much I love working here. The people are great, everyone I have met is nice, a dream career. Anyone about to start class I would be happy to answer any questions just PM me.

Airsense is spot on. I would also throw in Limitations and Memory Items. You absolutely have to know those cold.
The training is a bit of a firehose effect, but cooperate to graduate, have good study habits and a good attitude and you'll do fine.

It is not an app to make it clear but an iBook. You won't see it on the App store but on iTunes or the iBookstore. And yes, it includes all the updates. I made it for a new generic A320 equipped with IAE 2527-A5 engines and a Sundstrand APS 3200 APU. You won't see A318/A319/A321 differences though. As you can imagine, Airbus has a lot of different options. It would make things too complicated. I am adding more chapters in the coming weeks (i.e: CFM engines). Next one is Waste & Water
