Delta 30 Gates In SEA

Heard that a West coast base will happen on the 717, they just are not sure where it will be. I heard they want LAX, but don't have gate space, same in SEA. Looking at SLC because they have room to add an additional bank of flights there during the day. Just a typical unreliable source though so that is probably all BS.

A lot of people in the know really thought that there would be an LAX or SEA base right up to the moment they said NYC.
fwiw I fly a lot of turns that only have 60-70 people on them both ways. Don't know if that is going to be the norm going forward but if they decide to put RJs back on those routes there would be more 717s to share. But I kind of like the idea of us taking back the flying and acquiring more 717s elsewhere instead. We have about 30ish more 717s to go.

Welcome new guys, Please try to give a friendly nod or a "Hi" when you see other pilots on the bus or at the airport. It seems like avoiding eye contact or giving "Stinkeye" is common for DL crews. (not All, but too many) Non DL crews are not the enemy. We are all just employees. Commuters ...AS has 2 J/S on all planes and you are welcome at any time 1st come 1st served. AS and QX pilots have bumping rights. Beware, agents are closing flights anywhere from 10-20 minutes early when all that are booked are onboard. So Arrive early. If you see the working pilots try to make contact so we make sure you get on. I'm always treated well on DL. Thanks.

I don't think has anything to do with any particular airline. At least 90% of the time I try to acknowledge fellow crew members - most do not respond.
