Pretty much if it's not a 737 with a senior FA painted on the tail it can be outsourced.

That would be a senior DELTA FA on the tail... have you seen some of the new Alaska FAs???

But here, I am (obviously!) a newhire ... with a line in Dec with all weekends pretty much off, and Christmas, too! Not bad for first month off OE to be sitting at 80% seniority in my base of choice!

I am blessed, for sure.

Please, NEVER quote Iron Eagle., worst movie ever made!

And for all y'all DAL bubbas, better check 12 (for Alaska), check 3 (for AF, Emirates, Virgin, etc), check 6 (for UAL), and check 9 (for the new 'Merican)! Looks like the Borg are surrounded.

Seriously, though, I hope our two CEOs can kiss and make up (figuratively only, as I bet RA would use tongue). I know y'all would like more west coast flying but a renewed partnership with us would make us both stronger, create an awesome international SEA hub for DAL, and provide both pilot groups with more flying. The course DAL seems to be on is to create more "Delta" flying in SEA ... at the expense of Delta pilots. 737s into PAKT and PASI are way better than a CRJ!

Had to edit out my "Iron Eagle" reference..can't even see it in print!

Most likely our two customer bases won't have much overlap in SEA. You guys will be flying locals up to SE AK out of the N gates and we'll be flying Asian pax to the East Coast out of the S gates. Hopefully, all the traffic will make SEA a more important hub for both of our airlines and benefit the city as well. Rumor over here is a new SEA 73N domicile in early '15, so those of us west of the Mississippi are anxiously waiting for a chance to replace those RJ's!

But really, watch out for those SKW MRJ's..they've got 200 on order and they can't fly them for anybody else but you guys, especially now that AA dropped their scope relaxation demands. As a former "DL new-hire with the world by the nads" who became a former "mainline furloughee", that's the best "Bogey Dope" I can give you.

Glad you are psyched about flying the line..and always good to hear new hire FA's are making their way back to both AS and DL.

Now tell the truth..do you strap on a Sony Walkman to your kneeboard every time you start the RNAV into JNU?! Come on, man..you can admit it..

What's better than Iron Eagle, one might ask?

Iron Eagle II, of course!
