You really going to try and pull the arrogance card!?! I believe Cricket knows that it's all in fun. At least that's what I got from his response. You on the other hand seem to be all butthurt about it. Well, to each his own...

And I think you are looking to spell "ye" not "yea."

Hey, already done SEA-HNL (on OE), and have our company's longest flight in Dec: ANC-ORD. I don't see the big deal about what you call the "torture chamber"--it is more than 2x the size of the cockpit I flew in for 22 years, I can pee standing up, get to eat a meal almost every flight, and have very nice FAs get me a cup of coffee ... What's the downside??

Well, at least 15 more years of opinions ... Doesn't make ya right, though, bro!

It would be interesting to fly with you as captain:

FO Cricket: I don't know what they taught you at Delta Airlines, but here at Alaska, it is mandatory to put the gear down prior to landing.

Capt BP: Have you even finished OE yet?? I have 15 years flying plus have sold xxx books, blah, blah, blah.

FO Cricket: Great, but I really think we should put the gear down before we land!

The only people that like flying the 737 are those that haven't flown the 757.

Fair enough, maybe your boss will sell them to my boss for a good deal?

Or anything else, except a single seat fighter type...

Ah, then you've never flown an Airbus.

Give the Cricket a break, he got a dream job in a place he likes.... For some reason he likes to torture himself in a T-6. That alone makes him dangerous.

That's right, on all accounts.

And if y'all Delta pilots are ever up ANC way (heard it is REAL easy to non-rev on DAL up here, especially through Juneau), I will take you up in a T-6 and show you what some real flying is like--way better than anything French-made!

Here's mine: Starting Central/South America (don't know the destination or departure city yet) in 2015, to be announced sometime this month. Heard it here first, well, except that this rumor has been around for 8+ years, it's really going to happen.
From where?
