Default DCA Employee Parking

I will be starting training with a major in the coming months. According to DCA's parking website, it says that applications and sale of employee parking for 2015 is only through the end of September. For those who might know, one, can I purchase an employee pass if the airline I have been hired by isn't based there but does fly at that airport and two, can I purchase an employee parking pass with my current airline ID and just transfer it over to the new airline when I start in a few months or can I purchase one with my new airline if I can provide proof of hire?

I commuted out of DCA for years at DAL (non crew base). All I had to do was go to the DAL base manager and get a signed employee parking application and take it to the pass office. A few years ago it was about $300/yr. Once you get it, I don't think they care if you switch airlines until you have to renew it. They will pro-rate the cost if purchased after Sept. Hope that helps

That does help! Thank you for the info. The only other options I see is to purchase monthly parking in crystal city for $100 a month or at a hotel for $5.99 a day
