That AS screwed up bad? Really? Look, you're a gear jerker. Nothing more nothing less. That's a good thing in this profession and it's most likely where your talents lay. For certain it's not airline financials or management fundamentals. I not going to get into why Alaska refused to end all their codeshare agreements; destroy their outstanding mileage program or put themselves in an incredible risky situation by not accepting Delta's exclusive feeder offer. What I will say is Alaska's refusal resulted in a lot of pilot jobs and growth. A BIG win for us all. Try sticking to that. You'll have more credibility. Keep Climbing and have a great Delta day!

Damn you Alaskan pilots. Just stop.

We are a southern company. We live in the south. We have what we term outhouses in various other parts of the country, even those baking in the sin of legalized marijuana.

It's "Keep Climbing and have a blessed Delta day!"

Don't screw this up again.

Got it Moosei?

Not really. Review the data for how many total passengers are Delta bookings on AS.

Absolutely! I'm very glad that AS management decided to award DL narrowbody flying to DL pilots on the west coast, because DL wasn't going to do it.

I'm just trying to spitball some ways to pitch tighter scope to the company. It can be sold as a partial win for them, ditto for large RJ scope if DCI continues to implode. Our scope needs improvement and its the cheapest time to "buy" it right now, at least as far as large RJ's and AS go.

Spread across the network that's true. But we had a dozen large narrowbody flights a day on one city pair, none of it DL metal, with up to half of the seats full of DL pax. And similar abuses on the west coast. That DL only put one or two on the tons of niche flying AS (mostly Horizon) do that watered down the average doesn't change that.

Its funny that to stay independent, AS has to get deeper in bed with AA. I think they bet on DL being unwilling to fight them on capacity. When DL didn't cave, AS upped the ante with SLC and their BA partnership. IMO AS was certain DL would buckle. That has proven to be a huge miscalculation.

I suppose they figured DL wouldn't want to pay for what they were getting for free from AS.

If it allows you to sleep better at night, by all means, keep telling it to yourself.

Obviously it is of a substantial concern to you and a small handful of others.
