Let's all remember that while these new online listing procedures are time savers and are handy, it is the policy of Spirit Airlines to accommodate all jumpseat requests at the ticket counters, service counters, or the departure gate. Walk ups are welcome.
The agents can clear a pilot (on line or OAL) through CASS at the above locations, provided you appear in a timely and reasonable fashion to process such requests. Any and all incidents of refusal or restriction of Jumpseat access should immediately be brought to the attention of the captain. If unable, be professional and notify all Jumpseat committees or coordinators with full details.
In addition, A Flight Attendant or certificated airman of another airline that Spirit Airlines has a reciprocal jumpseat agreement with may occupy the extra available F/A jumpseat. Available F/A Jumpseats:
· A319-L1 inboard jumpseat · A320-No jumpseat· A321-R4 folding jumpseat (someone verify this one?)
Fly safe and welcome aboard.

Guys, if anyone has a concern about priorities, please go to your airline's jumpseat coordinator and have them contact me, or if you're a Spirit pilot, contact me directly. All I was trying to do is get the word out about our new way of listing. Also, if you need the code, you have to go though your airline's jumpseat coordinator. They have it, and are probably getting it out to the pilot groups as we speak.
Thanks,
RK

Thank you for that info, RP4242.
Fantastic news!
AA and DAL next...
I appreciate jumseat policies which allow for unlimited jumpseaters, regardless of number of jumpseats installed.
NK also offers FA jumpseats.

Just as an FYI, Southwest DOES NOT require a listing prior to showing up for the jump seat. It is a courtesy and much appreciated by the agents, but NOT required. If an agent gives you grief simply ask another agent nearby to do it and mention the issue to the flight deck crew when you board so the agent can be corrected.
