Seriously, you make my posts seem like they came from Robert Frost.............
Nobody at Spirit wants to fly with anyone who says, "bros, skillz, & howz

If you're Robert Frost, I must be Hank Moody.

Bros: I'm looking at both Spirit and Jetblue and VirginAmerica as a next step after flying regionals. I have read good things about spirit and everyone here seems to really love the place. Jetblue just voted I'm a union and I hear awesome stuff about that place too. Same with VirginAmerica but I m concerned with their being kinda risky. Would you guys do anything different In your career paths after now being at spirit? I guess I was kinda weighting it between spirit and Jb and it looks like Jb may be a good place to be now with representation. Of course I Need to fly a couple more years at my current regional (Expressjet). I'm looking at two more years I think. What do you think spirit will look like then. Any attrition? How zBout growth? Thanks
#2.. Do you have an interview
All of this is pointless unless you get a call. There are many regional guys and gals looking for career progression, I'm one of them. I've been to a Spirit job far, received the long app and patiently waiting since Nov.. Spirit is an awesome place to be right now, I have friends there and they love it. It is a CURRENT airline to call home and spend your career at. Two years from now... Who the hell knows, this is one of the most exciting time periods to be in this industry. The regional pilots are finally getting together thanks to Eagle, EXJ, and RAH pilots standing strong. Bottom line is put in apps with whoever/all that your interested in working for.. Then worry about it when you get a call from 2 of them...otherwise build time and fly.. Look forward to the industry changing a lot bc it will....
By the way thanks Lobaeux and Joey for posting and keeping us wannabes up on the Spirit info. I read a lot and don't post much.. I appreciate it.

This is who the regionals have stooped to hiring because they don't want to pay actual money. What an embarrassment to everyone at Xjt.

Very funny Joey. And exactly what I was thinking while reading the post, but since I am no Robert Frost, didn't know how to put it into words. Bravo.

What's the average time between completing the long app and an interview or even a TBNT letter?
I completed the long app in mid March. Numerous internal recommendations... 6200 TT, check-airman, clean PRIA.
