Default 22" Purdy Neat worn out - anything better?

Guys,

My 20 year old Purdy Neat 22" roll-a-board is ready for the trash. Any recommendations on other brands that have the right stuff to last me another 12 years?

I might just get another Luggage Works bag and call it good but I am interested in considering other options too. Thanks!

That's pretty good that it lasted you that long. Mine is ready for the trash and it only lasted me about 8 years.

Kind of off topic. Does anyone know of a laptop/iPad bag that clips onto the clips on the luggage works bag?

Check the luggage works site. They have several that do just that.

Costco. Hands down the best bag I've owned and it has a lifetime no questions asked return policy.

Anything goes wrong - take it back, get a refund, buy a new one.

$89

After 13 years, I finally had to replace the kick plate (the metal panel that makes up the bottom). It had finally worn through at the bottom. The replacement part was so thin, I thought it wrong part.

But it was the right part, and I figured it wouldn't last long. The replacement lasted barely a year.

I wound up buying another, and making a field mod by screwing a section of aluminum L channel to the edge. So far, so good.

This.

I've owned 3 PNT bags and they fall apart, need rebuilds and spare parts, and are just plain heavy. The Costco bag works great and while I bought one for $99 thinking I'd return it when it wears out, 4 years later it's still doing its job.

Check out Briggs and Riley bags... lifetime no-questions no-exceptions warranty. You might check if there's a dealer near you, since they can handle the warranty without you having to mail luggage.
