Default FFDO training on NBC's morning show.

Don't know what it's going to show but just saw a little blurb that NBC's Today show will show how the "pilot's defend our airplanes." It had a couple views of the 727 cockpit attack-trainer, and a couple shots on the range.

Not exactly the sort of stuff I want the ENEMY to know about. All Al-Qaeda has to do here to find out about potential targets is watch TV, surf the internet and read books. I hope it is not too revealing.

It's,"EXACTLY the sort of stuff" I want the enemy to know about. One serving or hot lead is just on the other side of the door. I admit, they'll
never get another U.S. Airline by force ... the threat now is surface to airs, liquids, and flatulence.

I frankly think the threat of armed pilots is a great deterent. They should almost have a sign on the cockpit door right below "Flight Deck Crew Only" saying "WARNING PILOTS MAY BE PACKING HEAT! AND WILL BUST A CAP IN YOUR ASS IF YOU DONT STEP OFF" Adding the work Biatch may or may not be required.

The FFDO program will never be effective until you put a gunport in the cockpit door!

Oh no! They might reveal some SSI! The general public may find out that the life of an FFDO is really more of a bore and hassle than the James Bond lifestyle they want us to believe! SHHHHHH! Nobody is allowed to discuss anything about the FFDO program!!!!! The 'bad guys' may find out that *gasp* SOME PILOTS FLY WITH GUNS!!!

Yes, turret coming from the cockpit and aiming into the cabin would work very well!!! I don't think anyone would try to breach the door then!!!
