Now, does that mean it's exactly what Delta wanted fixing? Maybe not, but in this case it turned out it was. Just an idea for you guys to try.

Thanks for the good info.

Trying to be patient.

Default Fix it email

Although I get the feeling that each situation is different, I was wondering what the general consensus is on fix-it emails? Is it good that your application was actually reviewed? Or is it bad because you didn't connect when you were at the plate? Or is it neither and simply part of the process?

I don't think it's a bad thing. I tried to find out the Colonel's secret ingredient at my interview. After my interview, I flat out asked the HR rep what type of app gets the invite. He wouldn't divulge (shocking, I know). What he did tell me was that "typos and grammatical errors" are a big black eye for the applicant. Other than that, they have a point system, and tiers. You now know as much as I do about how I got invited.

As far as my "fix it" e mail, it was because I indicated I would not be able to relocate (make sure you click you can) and another thing that was actually already the way they wanted it. I just left it the way it was. I got the invite 2 days later. So, based on my experience, I believe it's a good thing, and your app is under consideration and they just need to tie up loose ends. I would guess they don't send fix it e mails for typos or grammar issues. Those just probably go to the circular file. .

Based off the times and the username - I'm going to guess a former NAS Pensacola T-39 pilot returning to the airlines after the contract retired?

Does anyone know if any Legacy or Major is currently hiring pilots, with any regularity, that do not any college degrees?

Thanks.

Spirit has hired pilots recently with no college degree. I would say they are in the minority, but they have been hired.

Huge Congrats Charlie-17!!! Just curious about what was the make-up of the interviewees? Mil/cil/regional? Hrs/quals? and what happened to the other 4 that didn't get picked?
