Interviewed 3 October, phone call about 8 days later (long 8 days). Now waiting in the pool, expected start mid-Feb.
Former Navy Hornet guy, 21 yrs and ~ 3400 hours. Happy to be here!

Wasn't there a Delta guy who did just that - resigned at 19.9 years or thereabouts - to deny his cheating spouse a cut of his military retirement? The story goes, he already had a Delta class date.
