Could we kindly ask people hired to post their age as well? Just curious to see whether there really is age discrimination occurring or not....

My wife applied for a competitive education program that published a point system for its applicants. It was complicated, but allowed candidates to have an idea of how they stacked up. It also gave you an idea of how to improve (if necessary). The program didn't guarantee anything to anyone based on the points (obviously) but was upfront about the average points that the accepted candidates usually had.

At this point, I'm guessing that Delta still has a deep bucket to pull from, and as long as they don't feel the need to cater to those who are waiting, they will continue the smoke and mirrors game. It sure keeps a lot of us on our toes...
Some sort of scale would be pretty nice. Although I'd imagine it might be a moving scale depending on who is in the bucket when they pull apps.

I'd love to know the 'gotchas' people have heard of. Apologies to the companies charging for reviews, but I think this forum is a perfect place to share amongst ourselves. I have paid for app review and it was worth it, but I still hear things that make sense as gotchas. Like, if you went to a 141 camp like UND or ERAU, some air lines like you listing all that flight training separately. Maybe that's common knowledge, but I sure as heck didn't know to do that.

I don't think you need to apologize to the companies profiting off of pilots. Pilots helping pilots is MUCH better than pilots profiting off other pilots IMHO.

I asked you a simple question. Which of the airlines that you really really really want to work for?

Rejected you hardest? How does one reject you hardest? Like TBNT? I'm just chugging along building my tpic and TT.
