DL's averages 2014-2015 -

Mil 3119 TT 2249 TPIC

Mil/Civ 4938 TT 2955 TPIC

Civ 7656 TT 4126 TPIC

At times you're comparing apples and oranges.

I wouldn't stress over the hogan. If you answer honestly and are a normal person you should be ok. It's stuff like "are you good at math" well yes. "are you good at multiplying large numbers" well.. no. just be yourself and you should be ok.

Default Who's been hired?

Actually do stress over Hogan... they use it as a deal breaker. "I like classical music..." or "I prefer to read a book over watching TV..." Really?!

"I would enjoy skydiving." So what if you actually did 15 years ago, but haven't done it since? Your only options are true or false...

If they were using Hogan as a supplement to give you a better screening and line of questions at the interview, then I'd say don't worry.

Using a true/false line of questions as end-all-be-all without a follow-up, they've sent some outstanding candidates to Delta, SWA and AA.

Agreed 100%. The above post saying "I'm good at Math" is a yes but "multiplying large numbers " is no? Isn't that being "good at math?"

Haven't taken the Hogan but the AA app on pilotcredentials also has a question bank that seems like a psych eval. They ask the same questions multiple times but different ways.

Except on the MMPI, if you are out of parameters, DAL will come back and tell you how to answer it different so you can move on and get hired.

Unlike UAL.

I'm currently working on my resume and beginning to get myself ready for the transition. I was curious what anyone thinks my chances are for any Major or Legacy? And I am looking for extreme honesty.

Thanks.
I retired from the Marine Corps a year ago, similar background (1300 helo, 1700 BE20, 1600 of which is PIC, and around 600 PIC in the helo). One thing I have learned over the past year is that this is a crap shoot. Pure black magic. After 6 months of staying home with my kids, I got the interview with SWA. I made it to the background check portion, but was not selected to go on, and given no explanation. I can't think of anything in my background that should have come as a surprise, so I'm not sure what I did wrong. I was attributing it to my helo time, but a good friend of mine just got the CJO with very similar creds, so I must have punted the interview. Anyhow, with currency becoming a concern, I took the job at a regional in June, a week after I got the TBNT from SWA. I only have about 200 hours in the ERJ now, and I am in phase 2 with JB, hoping for a Feb class.

Long story short, you've got a good chance at landing an interview, but have a back up plan! Best of luck to you.
