Sitting around ops BSing before a trip and I mentioned this USA/DAL hostile takeover to the capt when the news first hit. We're contemplating the issues of 3 seniority lists, etc, and I mentioned something about the earlier acquisition of USAir by AW when this chick FO sitting next to me, not part of the conversation, spits out that USAir merged with AW, it wasn't an acquisition! Turns out she's furloughed from USAir and has landed safe and sound at Brown, but she's still burning over the takeover of her alma mater (which put her on the street). If former employees can be that bitter over getting bought out it gives you an idea of what lies ahead if DAL gets bought. Ugly.
