US Airways Calls

I'm sure more.
The new American will be the biggest airline in the world. I would assume they would get what delta has and then some when they get a JCBA.
The new American would be the top aviation job in the country. I doubt there would many that wouldn't come back.
We'll see a preview with this new United JCBA.
Be careful, especially if you quit a job before you have a firm class date. Just ask the people that got the shaft from delta/nwa.
It was my understanding NWA was hiring right as the merger was being discussed. People were being offered classes and then all of a sudden the doors slammed shut and delta stopped all new hiring at nwa. I know a couple guys that got stuck like that, luckily they still had their jobs. Most are still at their regional and knowing if they had gotten a class a month earlier they would be making 30% more and at delta. Hard not to be bitter at that even just a little.

Agreed, however I think this merger would/will take longer than the NWA/DAL merger. I think most guys (depending on what they are doing) will wait it out before recall. Some AA furloughs are either CAs at Jblue, even CAs at CAL etc, so I don't see many of them coming back etc....

I can still go into that page but when I do go to make the changes to my current times etc it seems to show the OLD resume and not my new updated one..... Not too worried though......

Max, what most people have done, and been successful in doing, is to take the resume and put the letter of rec. on a second page, then attach the whole thing where the resume goes, and yes you can do it after the fact as you can also update the resume portion just not the application.
That said some folks have reported problems updating the resumes in the last few days.
I also spoke with a friend of a recruiter who said that while the five year initial training was a question they asked, it is far from a requirement. Just one more thing, kinda like a letter from an internal source, not necessary, but it helps.

Haha.... Side note according to the latest crew news they only have 3000 applicants
Any who that seems low but also makes sense when compared to the DAL, SWA, etc and their CBAs as compared to Airways..... They seem almost cocky too saying why worry about applicants in regards to the FAA rule changes upcoming..... Wonder if that attitude changes when others start to hire and they no longer are the only legacy hiring?

Seriously? A second year FO would make more at FedEx or UPS and work a lot less than 20 wide boys captains at America West, which is what USAir and America really would be.
