There is no definitive scuttlebutt on when our next permanent bid will run, but the company is on a pattern of running about one per quarter. I would suspect that the next bid or two will close the PHL 737 base, leaving CLT as the only base on that fleet.

Not a new hire anymore, but I am working here. The results of our most recent domicile bid (effective March 2013) came out last week. There were 133 unfilled positions on that bid, which is where upcoming new hires will go. 66 positions were on the A320 (26 CLT, 26 PHL, 14 DCA), 36 on the E190 (PHL is the only domicile on that fleet), and 31 on the B737 (25 CLT and 6 PHL). Those 133 spots will take new hires for the foreseeable future.

And Scutaro.
Gee, how come the Red Sox can never get players like that?
Back on topic, I have several friends who have applied to US and are still awaiting calls.
Have any of you folks in new hire class right now heard of when the next domicile bid might be published, that may reveal how many more vacancies there may be this spring and summer?
TIA.

But, I also didn't apply until 10/19, so my application is probably low in the stack.
I don't have anywhere near the hours that a lot of guys on here have, so we'll see what happens.
