Fine with me. I have no interest in PHX. The last class had guys junior-manned into PHX. I guess PHX is only popular with those living on the west coast.[/QUOTE]
Wait, we have new hires being forced to phx on their days off? Unbelievable

No, I meant new hires being forced to domicile in PHX because the senior guys in their new hire class out bid them for East Coast bases. I made the comment because I always heard PHX was a desirable and senior domicile. That wasn't the case with the last new hire class. Apparently, all the PHX assignments in that class went to the junior guys who wanted an east coast domicile.

If the rejection rate is truly 60%, I am curious if there is a pattern in the backgrounds and/or qualifications of those being rejected. Are potentially good employees and well qualified pilots being passed over for interviews? The interview team must be very busy. This is a higher rejection rate than Delta.

Getting Phoenix because you're junior is just considered being the junior guy in class..... Thus the airline vocab comment from someone.... No worries most, if not all, knew what you meant.
