Yeah…I would of much rather been a UsAir pilot over a Delta/Ual pilot these last 25 years.

Haven't been called, but was told that my last boss just got called for info...

UAL is hemorrhaging money.

DAL does not have the front loaded attrition Airways/AA have. Not to mention, the flight opts culture of Airways is refreshingly humble.

Don't hold that against the Delta 'north' folk, they always surprise me when I'm riding their jumpseat, or, God forbid, their van, they actually turn around and talk to me!

You bring up a valid point, it's always easy to spot the former NWA guys, they smile and talk. Even when i was just RJ scum.

They're also the ones with their double-breasted jackets flapping open and their hats on their bags walking through the terminal.

For you newbies at Airways training, are khakis and a polo okay for Indoc or do we need to wear dress pants and a button down shirt?
