While we're at it, Mesa, JetBlue, some RAH, Virgin America, PSA, Piedmont, etc need not apply too.

Oh sure, he/ she's glad to hear it but if this person is in charge of hiring....you're SOL

And how long were you at a regional?
JetBlue pays more than Airways. You guys got saved by American Airlines and the Allied Pilots Association. Haven't seen many of you thank those groups.

JetBlue is ALPA now, you guys threw out ALPA when you didn't get a favorable ISL.

This prevents all those guest speakers during indoc to have to waste a day of travel to PHX every 2 weeks or so. During my indoc in PHX, it seems like everyone just flew in from DFW or PIT for the day to talk to us.
Waggs was referring to the interview process. From what I've heard is that will be combined in July. Once hired You will then be broken off to East, West, or AA after combined Indoc in DFW. A single interview process will be in place well before SOC.

I was, thanks. I saw where some people got calls the last few days for interviews in early June and was wondering if those would probably be the last legacy airways interviews or if there are plans to keep interviewing more throughout the month. Basically, will more people be getting called for interviews from airways in the future?

Honestly bro nobody knows. It's been pushed back every month since December. I was told March, then April, May, June now the rumor is July...

(see a pattern?)

The people who do know aren't talking and aren't on the forums

Is US pulling from the Sep 13 window yet? Or is it still the May 13 window? You have to wonder if they will even utilize the Sep 13 window before the SOC is finalized and then combined.

IMO the Sept window will be utilized. Who will utilize it is the real question.

Has anyone heard of them doing the background check on someone who hadn't passed the interview?

I don't think they do the background check until after you've been offered the job and fly to PHX or PHL to fill out some paperwork and pee in a cup.

Even after that, I don't really know what the background check entailed or when it occurred. I never had anyone tell me that they received a call about it.

Background checks are done after you get the call for a class date. You'll attend a pre-employment appointment at CLT, PHL or PHX where you'll pee in a cup and fill out background check and PRIA paperwork. The background check isn't a big deal unless you've got serious legal baggage.

Yeah. Its awesome that we didn't merge with United (that was tried three times) or with Delta, both ALPA dues servants. Well, if it had been with Delta we could have easily helped toss ALPA off that property too.
