Thanks for the advice. The only X factor is the base is Boston so it will be much harder to get to, if at all. Also for those curious, when I applied I had about 5000 total and 4000 tpic, all military, 200 hours in 12 months, no training program in 7 years, and one internal.

They do.
The downside is, you have to win the lottery to get a phone call, I know that is what it felt like to me .

Its a lottery somewhat but not 100%. My understanding (I could be wrong) is a bunch of resumes get selected and then the pilot hiring team hand picks out of the pile who they will interview. It appears that they are hiring a mix of corporate, military, regional, and cargo (heavy) type pilots. It will be interesting to see if any of the hiring practices change once hiring is all done by AA.

I'm sure after its just AA doing the hiring to be hired off the street you will probably need to have been in the military. Why wouldn't they? Eagle flows provide all the civilians they need and traditionally AA has hired heavily from the military ranks. Reason # 578 flows are bad IMO.
