Bos-Lga is an easy easy commute. Shuttle runs every hour with lots of seats open on every flight. With the huge BOS footprint of US/AA I wouldn't be surprised if a BOS base opens up again in the future.

So, did you get hired at Airways or are you just doing research?

Well, good luck. I hope you make it. Is it legacies or bust? Or have you ever considered LCC's?

They do.

The downside is, you have to win the lottery to get a phone call, I know that is what it felt like to me .
Many groups feel that they are discriminated against by employers, so US Airways leaves it all to chance to limit liability from opportunists.

Its a lottery somewhat but not 100%. My understanding (I could be wrong) is a bunch of resumes get selected and then the pilot hiring team hand picks out of the pile who they will interview. It appears that they are hiring a mix of corporate, military, regional, and cargo (heavy) type pilots. It will be interesting to see if any of the hiring practices change once hiring is all done by AA.

I'm sure after its just AA doing the hiring to be hired off the street you will probably need to have been in the military. Why wouldn't they? Eagle flows provide all the civilians they need and traditionally AA has hired heavily from the military ranks. Reason # 578 flows are bad IMO.

Agree. Plus with a flow the airline has no control who is being hired.
