I had three from former chief pilots. They didn't even ask to see them and I never had a chance to give them to them. I was pretty early in the process so maybe things have changed but I still got the job. But don't get me wrong, I would still bring some.

I'm having this same issue. It allows me to upload an updated resume, but when I click to preview my newly updated resume, it continues to give me the old one. Has anyone found a solution to this? How do you update your resume at US Airways?

This may help to put in perspective how important they are: I brought none and was hired. That was probably dumb on my part, but it worked out. I'd bring them if you can, but they don't seem to be clutch.

I had 3 letters that I brought to the interview. One from my current boss, one from an AA pilot, and one from an Airways pilot. The interviewers specifically mentioned how impressed they were with 2 of the letters. I was hired and I think well written letters will help.

Is it necessary to have them signed? I would think their contact info on the letter is sufficient as most people know the letters are coming from all over.
