Default US Airways Calls

I don't think there's a class this week. Next class starts Nov. 5.

I believe there was a Monday, October 29th new hire class of 13 individuals.

There could have been a class this week. If so then they are running a new hire class weekly.

Hey guys, applied awhile back and haven't heard anything yet. Just curious if I should not hold my breath. I have 4700 total, 1900 TPIC, almost all multi-engine turboprop with about 3 years at regionals. Been working 135 Fractional for last five years or so. Only 100 hrs jet time though.

Is that even competitive these days?

I did notice I now have the View Directions thing under my profile, is that an indication either way?

Thanks

How long is one likely to remain an E-190 FO?

A pay cut first year, well OK that's how the game is played. But if it dragged on to say five years...

I wonder if these are calls for a class date or for an interview.
I don't have the directions portion, mine says:

Reference No W53-83-2281
Started on: 10/19/2012

The view job description, view/edit my attached resume and show online application links.

I wonder if my application isn't complete since it gives a "started on" date?

No class this week. Next class will be 11/5. Not sure of breakdown of the previous class, but I imagine it's a mix of E190 and 320. E190 exclusive to PHL and bus have been going to all three domiciles CLT/PHL/DCA.

As for time on E9, it can vary. You are seat-locked for 1 year. They have released the seat locks before, not sure how long ago, but it has happened. After the first year, you're free to bid to wherever there are vacancies (Equip and domicile). Seems like most vacancies now are on the Bus with the new 321's coming on next year/retirement of 37s and the 5 E9s coming back from Republic, those two fleets will have the biggest number of openings. To answer your question, as of now, you should be able to hold a bus seat (if E9 FO) after your 1 year lock expires.

Yes. 18 months every time you switch aircraft.
